A trio from Decorah, Iowa, formed in 1973 by Jody Koenig (guitar, vocals), Ole Torvik (bass) & Greg Knipe (drums) then Erik Berg (drums). In line with Michigan proto-punk combos, "Teen Slime" recalls the savagery of some heavy psychedelic groups from the late 60's like Yesterday's Children but with the madness of the Dead Boys. Their only single "Teen Slime / Rot 'n' Roll" was released in 77 on the label of Koenig "Rave-up Records".
